Luke 24:27 The Highlights of: THE 5th ANNUAL MEN’S CONFERENCE 2003 Hosted by: TRINITY UNITED REFORMED CHURCH 7350 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Caledonia, MI 49316 The 5th Annual Men's Conference was held at Trinity URC on July 18-19, with Rev. Jim Dennison (Academic Dean at Northwest Theological Seminary) and Dr. Bill Dennison (Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at Covenant College) featured as the main speakers.  The Conference, entitled "It's All Greek to Me", was centered upon the subject of hermeneutics (how we interpret the Bible).  Rev. Dennison spoke on the Song of Solomon and on the Gospel of John; in both presentations he emphasized the centrality of Christ as being that which drives hermeneutics. Dr. Dennison spoke on Genesis 1:1 as a paradigm for biblical interpretation, as well as on Tolkien, Augustine, and Enoch, to demonstrate this paradigm.  In all the presentations, as well as in the Question and Answer sessions, the Dennisons demonstrated a profound passion for proclaiming Christ, to whom belongs all the glory.
