The Youth Group exists to aid parents in guiding, encouraging, and counseling their youth towards lives of godliness and service to Christ and His church. Lessons and activities are intended to:
– Help youth understand the nature of their existence before God and to develop a deeper relationship with Him
– Cultivate and strengthen a Christian worldview
– Instill in them a desire for outreach and community service
– Encourage friendships within the covenant community
The Youth Group meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays from September to April after the evening service. Meetings typically consist of a meal, singing, a biblical lesson followed by discussion, and games. Other special events include the Kickoff, Soup Supper, and Mall Hunt. The group also does various service projects throughout the year including a week-long mission trip each summer through Reformed Mission Services called T.A.S.C. or Teens Actively Serving Christ.
